Hosea‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.”

INSIGHT
-God declares that when both priests and His people reject knowledge; God will justly reject them. When they forgot the law of God, neither desired nor endeavoured to retain it in mind, and to transmit the remembrance to their posterity, therefore; God will justly forget them and their children. Isaiah 5‬:‭13 emphasizes that, “my people have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge; their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.” Let us seek wisdom that comes from the Lord by dwelling in His presence, studying His word, prayer and fasting, doing His divine will and yearning to know Him more.

PRAYER
As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for You, my God. My soul thirsts for You our Lord and God Maker of the heavens and the earth. May You forgive us, our families, forefathers, fathers, priests, prophets, leaders and all people from our ignorance and wrong doing. May You pudge us with hyssop that we may we may be whiter than snow. May You fill us with Your wisdom Holy Spirit and teach us Your ways. May You protect all the children who have closed schools for the long holidays. May You keep the road networks, railways and airways safe as they travel home and to various destinations. May You keep their parents at peace even as they stay with them and provide for all their needs. May You grant us peace together with all Your people and nations. We pray this believing and trusting in Jesus mighty name. Amen
