Revelation of the Word 23/10/2023 Admin
THEME: WISDOM
Proverbs 9:10-11 NIV
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life.”
INSIGHT
-Wisdom in Hebrew is written as chokmah which basically means to be wise and has been referenced more than 200 times in the Bible. Wisdom can simply be defined as the application of knowledge and understanding by Gods’ grace. King Solomon reveals that it is foolish to despise wisdom and instruction that comes from our Holy God. The fear of the Lord and obedience to God’s commandments are inseparable and this is the duty of all mankind (Ecclesiastes 12:13). Wisdom is a source of preservation which releases the grace of long life, just like obedience to one’s parents.

Father today we remember Your word that tells us where we need wisdom, we should ask from You are You will generously give us. May You release Your divine wisdom and spirit of the fear of the Lord upon us. May You fill us and anoint us afresh Holy Spirit with Your wisdom. We pray that Your wisdom shall be our portion and You shall rid us from all forms of foolishness and lack of knowledge within us. Father, we trust in You that You will do it for us, and we believe in You that You are able, and nothing is impossible for You. We pray for peace in Israel and a covering by the blood of Jesus Christ upon the entire nation and all the citizens. We thank You for You have heard us and You shall answer us. May Your will be done on us as it is in Heaven. We pray this in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
