THEME: VINDICATE ME LORD

Jeremiah‬ ‭51:10‬ ‬‬‬‬‬

“The Lord has vindicated us; come, let us tell in Zion what the Lord our God has done.”

INSIGHT
-Prophet Jeremiah saw the deliverance and the mighty works of the Lord, and proclaimed His goodness to the people. Through the prophet, the Lord delivers the message of thanksgiving for what He has done to the people. In Psalms‬ ‭35:27-28‬ ‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬we also see see a call to rejoice in the Lord for vindication saying, “may those who delight in my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, “the Lord be exalted, who delights in the well-being of his servant.” my tongue will proclaim your righteousness, your praises all day long.”

SUMMARY
‭‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬The Lord vindicates His people and judges us with righteousness. The word vindicate means be consecrated or set apart, to execute judgement or defend. The vindicates various units of the society for His love and mercy endures forever as we have reviewed this week. God vindicates those who fear Him and are righteous at heart. He vindicated king David and granted him victory from all his enemies (Psalms‬ ‭7:8-10‬). Job prayed for vindication, when he lost his children, wealth and became sick, and God restored double unto him (Job 13:18). The Lord also vindicates families like He delivered Rachel from pain and shame when her co-wife Leah could not stop mocking her. The Lord blessed Rachel and her household, and gave her a son Dan (Genesis‬ ‭30:6‬), whose name means the Lord vindicates. The Lord also blessed Rachel with other children, Joseph and Benjamin, two of the twelve progenitors of the tribes of Israel. God also vindicates a nation as we see deliverance and protection of Israel from their enemies. The Lord cautioned them from worshiping other foreign gods, with a promise to vindicate them from all their troubles and to preserves them with His supernatural peace. The Lord reminds us that, the just shall live by faith but any man who draw back, His soul shall have no pleasure in him (Hebrews 10:38). Finally, Lord vindicates the body of Christ; that is the church, from all the weapons of the devil and any accusation raised against us, for this is our heritage as His children. If then we are vindicated by the blood of the Lamb and we have sure hope of Jesus Christ our Redeemer, we are called to rejoice in Him always and give thanks to Him in all circumstances.

PRAYER
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. We rejoice in You Lord all the time. We rejoice in Your holiness and majesty. We rejoice in Your mercy and love. We rejoice in Your faithfulness and blessings. We rejoice in Your favor and grace upon our lives, families, churches and nation. We rejoice for You have done great things unto us. We count our blessings and name them one by one. We bless Your name for this far that You have brought us and the far that You are taking us. Thank You for enabling us to see this new month. May You take all the praise dear Jesus for only You deserve. You have blessed us and preserved us. You have provided for us and healed our wounds. You have protected us and shown us Your salvation unto us and all our generations. Your have vindicated us from shame and pain. May You deliver us from all the snares of the evil one and remove any accusation against us. You have loved us with Your everlasting love, nothing can separate us from Your love. No kind of trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger or sword can separate us from Your love. Great are You Lord our God, great are You and most worthy of our praise. Your greatness no one can fathom. None can fully comprehend Your wisdom. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are Your ways higher than our ways and Your thoughts greater than our thoughts. Unsearchable are Your judgments and inscrutable Your ways. Only You are worthy of our praise and worship. Only You are worthy of our adoration and thanksgiving. May You bless us and keep us Lord. May You shine Your face upon us and be gracious to us. May You turn Your countenance towards us and give us Peace. Amen
