Luke 24:30-32
Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.
Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him and He vanished from their sight.
And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?”
-Jesus appeared to two disciples on their way to Emmaus after His resurrection.
-Their eyes were opened as He gave them the Eucharist.
-Christ vanished into the Eucharist & their hearts.
-As Christ revealed the Word their hearts burned within them.
Prayer: Jesus Christ, I praise & glorify Your Holy name. Send forth The Holy Spirit into my heart & teach me Your Word. Appear in my family & guide us in our lives through the various situations that come our way.
