Exodus‬ ‭14:13-14‬ ‭‬‬

“And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

‭‭INSIGHT ‬‬
-Accomplish in Hebrew is written as asah which means to attain, achieve, set-apart, execute, establish, finish, fulfil or complete.
-Moses had sufficient faith to believe in a deliverance nature of God & promised the Israelites that it was their last time to face the hostility of Egyptians. It was a time when God revealed His mighty power to the Israelites by first delivering them from Egypt, guiding them by a cloud of fire through the wilderness & maintaining darkness on the side of Egyptian soldiers, parting the waters of the Red Sea for them to cross, slowing down the Egyptian soldiers in their pursuit of destruction & finally closing-in the waters of the sea thus destroying the enemy. Moses believed that the pursuit of Israel by the host of the Egyptians was a part of the counsel of God & was to tend in some way or other to the promotion of God’s glory & honour. Just as God fought for the Israelites until they gained victory over their enemies, Jesus died for our sins that we may be liberated from our burdens & find rest. July being the seventh month is the month of accomplishment/ completion. Jesus said it is finished & calls us to have complete faith in Him especially during this time so that we may partake of His blessings & eternal peace.

PRAYER
We thank You Lord our Father for You have given us yet another opportunity to see this new day. We glorify You & lift Your name on high Lord. We humbly ask You to deliver us from all forms of oppression, sicknesses, delays, inefficiencies & grant us victory in all areas of our lives, families, churches & nation. Fight for us Jesus our Savior & accomplish that which You have promised us Your children; so that Your peace may prevail in all our lives. Cover us with Your blood Father & shower us with Your blessings; & grace now & forever. Amen

Isaiah‬ ‭55:11‬ ‬‬

“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

‭‭ INSIGHT ‬‬‬‬
-We have always read, heard & meditated on the word of God, & always felt a spiritual impact. This is because the word of God is living & powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword piercing to the division of soul & spirit & of joints & marrow, & a discerner of the thoughts & intents of the heart (Heb 4:12). God calls us to believe in Him & His word for He has made it clear that His word must accomplish what it was designed to achieve; & that is His will. We know that Gods’ will shall always prevail, for instance; He sent His beloved Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins which was not the will of the Son but the Father. Let us always remember to ask God to accomplish His will in our lives; for His will always prevails. God tells us that His word always accomplishes the purpose for which it has been sent forth & calls us to have unwavering faith in Him so that we may receive all our requests.
‭‭‬‬
PRAYER
God our Almighty Father, we come before You today with humility in our hearts asking You for the gift of faith. We believe that every word that goes forth from Your mouth will not return to You void but accomplish the purpose for which You have send it. Give us firmer faith to enable us remain steadfast in Your word & by Your grace prosper that which You have promised us. You are gracious & full of kindness Lord, grant us all our requests that Your word may be fulfilled in our lives, families, communities, churches, nation & the whole world. Amen

2 Chronicles‬ ‭2:13-14‬ ‭‬‬‬‬‬‬

“And now I have sent a skillful man, endowed with understanding, Huram my master craftsman (the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre), skilled to work in gold and silver, bronze and iron, stone and wood, purple and blue, fine linen and crimson, and to make any engraving and to accomplish any plan which may be given to him, with your skillful men and with the skillful men of my lord David your father.”

INSIGHT
-When king Solomon set his heart to build the temple of the Lord on Mt. Moriah, King Hiram of Tyre decided to help him by providing food stuff including wheat, barley, oil & wine, logs of cedar, cypress & algum & skilled men like Huram to see to it that the project was successfully completed. We note that Huram was skilled in works of gold, silver, bronze, iron, stone, wood, linen, crimson, engraving & thus called a master craftsman. Just like king Solomon got the assistance he required from king Hiram & his team to construct the most pompous temple ever seen, God is also blessing us with better opportunities by bringing forth business partners, destiny shapers, mentors, clients etc in our journey of success & calls us to hold fast faith in prayer. We also note that in each ones capabilities, we have different gifts & talents which need to be cultivated so that we may excel in them to accomplish that which God has designed us to achieve.

PRAYER
God our Almighty Father You have enriched our hearts with many treasures of which some we are aware of & others we are not. Help us to discover & cultivate our gifts & talents that we may achieve maximum potential in all area of our lives. We believe that we can do all things through You Christ Who strengthens us, walk with us in our work that we may excel in what we do for our benefit & that of the world. Provide better opportunities for us Lord & those we work with so that we may have good success according to Your will. We praise You Father & exult You now & forever. Amen

Revelation‬ ‭17:17-18‬‬

‬“For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to hand over to the beast their royal authority, until God’s words are fulfilled. The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”

INSIGHT
-John refers to Babylon as the woman who rules over the kings of the earth. In Rev‬ ‭17:5‬ ‭he reveals that on the woman’s forehead it is written “Babylon the great the mother of prostitutes and of the abominations of the earth.” Her corrupt/ adulterous nature has seduced men & nations, & to some extent rules them politically & economically. This is a foresight of the sufferings of the Israelites through the Babylonian oppression under king Nebuchadnezzar who took them to captivity in Babylon & stole their treasures. Before these events God hardened the heart of Pharaoh & the same model of oppression was evidenced in Egypt. We also note that Babylonian systems apply in the world we live in stemming from the colonial era to neo-colonialism today. The majority of super-powers first; do not worship Christ & endeavour to oppress smaller economies through their autocratic ways of governance e.g. exploring & exploiting their natural resources, extending to them exploitative loans, directing their national budgets, corrupting governments with their policies & soft power influences etc. Such imperialism affects the majority of its citizens who suffer high inflation, high consumer price index, poverty etc. Such adverse effects on the citizens can be referenced from the book of Job 1:10-21, where Job suffered greatly in the hands of the devil who took away his children & his wealth. Though satan exercises authority on the earth, there are limitations prescribed by God for God controls the outcome of whatever decisions he may be allowed to make. The conclusion of this matter is therefore that God is Omnipresent, Omniscient & Omnipotent. He rules over everyone & everything according to His own will, to accomplish His own ultimate purpose & we are called to put all our trust in Him.

PRAYER
We thank You Lord our Father for You are good & Your mercy endures forever, we put all our trust in You. You have called us Your children to be holy because You are holy Lord, cleanse us, our leaders & our nation by Your precious blood & sanctify us for Your mercy & love endures forever. Cover us, our families & nation by Your hedge of fire always Lord & protect us from all evil. Direct our leaders in Your ways & bless the work of our hands that we may bear much fruit & prosper in all good works. All glory, honor, power, authority, riches & praise belong to You Lord now & forever. Amen

Luke‬ ‭9:30-31‬ ‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

“And behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory and spoke of His departure which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.”‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

INSIGHT
-Peter, James & John witnessed the transfiguration where Moses represented the law & Elijah the prophetic with Christ Who is the fulfilment of the Old Testament. Elijah having departed from the earth by a chariot & Moses the father of the great exodus, spoke about the departure of Christ through His victory on the cross. This was & still is a place of hope for those who are in Christ that we shall be changed as witnessed through Elijah & Moses, & inherit eternal life in Christ. The voice of God then said “this is my beloved Son listen to Him”. God has displayed His love for us His son’s through His Son Jesus & calls us to listen to Him in obedience to His word, & in anticipation for His sovereign promise to be fulfilled through His eternal covenant for us.

SUMMARY
Accomplish in Hebrew is written as asah which means to attain, achieve, set-apart, execute, establish, finish, fulfil, complete or rest.
-God uses us to accomplish His mission of love to others here in earth so that they may also know Him & believe. God chose His servant Moses to accomplish the mission of delivering Israelites from oppression in Egypt. Moses had sufficient faith to believe in a deliverance nature of God & promised the Israelites that it was their last time to face hostility in Egypt & find peace (Exo 14:13-14). God revealed His mighty power to the Israelites by delivering them from Egypt, guiding them by a cloud of fire through the wilderness & maintaining darkness on the side of Egyptian soldiers, parting the waters of the Red Sea for them to cross, slowing down the Egyptian soldiers in their pursuit of destruction & finally amassing their enemies in the sea of destruction that they may believe & glorify Him. Just as God fought for the Israelites until they gained victory over their enemies, Jesus died for our sins that we may be liberated from our burdens & find rest. King Solomon was also successful in his mission of building the temple of the Lord on Mt. Moriah in Jerusalem. God saw him through by sending King Hiram of Tyre to assist him by providing food stuffs, logs & skilled men like Huram a master craftsman; skilled in many areas. PRAYER
Dear Lord & Father, we thanks You for the gift of life & for everything You have done unto us. We know that You are doing a new thing in our lives, families, churches, leadership & nation, receive all our thanksgiving & praise Lord. Many are the plans in our hearts but Father Your will always prevails. Guide us all in this journey of faith that we may always listen to Your voice & accomplish all that You have ordained for us. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ & the love of God, & the fellowship of the Holy Spirit; be with us now & forever more. Amen
