THEME: SALVATION OF THE LORD

Romans 6:23 NKJV

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

INSIGHT

Our Lord is Sovereign and by His mercy He has redeemed us and delivered us from the shackles of eternal death by His grace. We have been saved not by our own works lest anyone boasts but it is by His divine favor. Jesus is the rock of our salvation and requires us to have unwearing faith in Him.

SUMMARY

Salvation in Greek and Yeshua in Hebrew, fundamentally meaning rescue, deliverance, safety, and wholeness rather than only an abstract spiritual afterlife. God visits us with His salvation and grants us His favor (Psalms 106:4).  The Lord grants us salvation as a lamp that burns and righteousness goes forth as brightness (Isaiah 62:1-2). The Lord restores to us the joy of our salvation and upholds us with His generous Spirit (Psalms 51:10-12). The Lord says concerning our common salvation, He has found it necessary to write to us exhorting us to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3-4).

PRAYER

Lord You are Good and Your mercies endures forever. Lord You are great and greatly to be praised. Lord You are our God, gracious and merciful, we love You and bless Your holy name. Blessed be Your glorious name which is exalted above all blessing and praise. You alone are the Lord, You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and everything on it, the seas and all that is in them and You preserve them all. The host of heaven worship You. You are the Lord God, Who chose Abram. May You open doors of progress for us and close every gate that we have opened for the devil to operate in our lives and families. May You provide all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. May You bless us dear Lord Jesus and surround us with Your favor as with a shield. May You bless us and keep us, may You shine Your face towards us and be gracious unto us, may You show us Your countenance and grant us peace. Amen
