Ephesians 4:2 NIV
“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”
INSIGHT
–Humility before God is following after the footsteps of Christ and looking to Him, who is the author and finisher of our faith. We demostrate love through the sacrificial love that He has shown us by dying on the cross for our sins. We are then confident that He has reconcilled us with the Father and unites us with one another and His Holy Spirit.
PRAYER
We give thanks to You Lord for You are good, for Your love endures forever. We give thanks to You God of gods, for Your love endures forever. We give thanks to You Lord of Lords, for Your love endures forever. To You who alone does great wonders, Your love endures forever. We thank You for Your love that You have shown us and have bestowed upon us that when we were still sinners, You died for us and have liberated us from slavery from sin and given us eternal life. Precious Holy Spirit we welcome You into our lives that You may rule and reign in us and every situation of our lives. May You fill our hearts with gentleness to bear one another with love, including our family members, neighbours, the street families and less fortunate in the society. May You help us to keep the commandment of love for You dear Lord Jesus and for one another as ourselves. We pray this believing and trusting in Jesus mighty name. Amen
