THEME: BREAK EVERY CHAIN

Psalms 107:14 NKJV

“He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, And broke their chains in pieces.”

INSIGHT

–The psalmist offers praise for the rescue of the Israelites from Babylonian exile. This mirrors God’s ability to pull people from the darkness of sin and the shadow of death to light. In Nahum 1:13 we find the power of God revealed in the breaking of the yoke from the neck and tearing down of the shackles. As we begin a new month, let us ask God to break every chain in our lives, families, situations and families, set us free from the shadow of death.

PRAYER

I bless You Lord at all times, Your praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord, the humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. I exalt Your holy name and sing Your praises in this new month. I give thanks to You for Your goodness and Your wonderful works to us, for You have broken the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron into two. I declare Your goodness among all people for You have done great things unto us. Thank You for Your love and mercy towards us. Thank You for You have rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son You love. Thank You for You are doing a new thing in our lives. Nothing is too hard for You dear Lord God Almighty. Your promises Lord are yes and Amen. May we experience You in a special way as You release Your unmeritted favor upon us. We worship You and give You praise, in Jesus name we pray. Amen
