THEME: GOD OUR DELIVERER

Matthew 6:13 NKJV

“And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”

INSIGHT

–The Lords prayer offers an exposition of God as our deliverer who protects us from the devil and not only his snares. The work of the devil is to steal, kill and destroy but God gives us abundance of life, and offers us a way for salvation. God delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us, in whom we trust that He will still deliver us (2 Corinthians 1:10).   

PRAYER

Lord God Almighty You are our Rock and Fortress, our Deliverer. Lord You are our Rock and Refuge in You we take refuge. Lord You are our Shield, our Stronghold and the Horn of our salvation. Lord You have given us the power to trample over every snake and scorpion and every power of the enemy and nothing can indeed harm us. May You protect us and preserve us dear Jesus. Our Father who art in heaven; hallowed be Your name; Your Kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptations but deliver us from evil; for thine is the Kingdom the power and the glory; forever and ever. Amen
