Matthew 28:20 NIV
“and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
INSIGHT
–It is reasurring for Jesus to confirm that He is with us always not only now but to the completion of this age continually empowering us in His presence. God commands us believers to make disciples of all the nations, teaching them to obey Christ and His teachings. Before the conception of Jesus Christ, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream to notify him of the birth of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit who is Immanuel which is translated to mean God with us (Matthew 1:23).
PRAYER
Lord our God. Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Shalom, we magnify Your holy name. You have promised never to leave us nor forsake us. We thank You dear Jesus for dying on the cross for our sins so that we may live and live with You to the end of the age. Thank You for the gift of eternal life. May You grant us the grace and strength to continue preaching the gospel in Your name dear Lord Jesus. Thank You for loving us first, we love You Jesus. Amen
