THEME: BELIEVE IN GOD

Hebrews 11:6 NKJV

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

INSIGHT

–The heros of faith outlined in this chapter testifying of God’s goodness, power and might. Abraham obeyed God’s instruction to move out of his fathers house without knowing where he was going. Sarah in faith received strength to bear a child at old age. Moses by faith was hidden for three months and later when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin. It is then impossible to please God without faith for God is Faithful. Let us then not loose hope knowing that it is through faith that we are tested and grow as believers in Christ.

PRAYER

In You O Lord we put our trust, let us never be put to shame. Deliver us in Your righteousness and cause us to escape from the snares of evil one. Incline Your ear to us and save us. You are our strong Refuge whom we resort continually. You have promised the commandment to save us. You are our Rock and our Fortress. May You increase our faith dear Lord Jesus, bless us and help us to please You always. May You bless us and expand our territories dear Jesus. May You heal all those who sick and restore all the street families. We honor You Lord and give You praise, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
