1 Corinthians 13:6 NIV
“Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.”
INSIGHT
–True love does not celebrate sin, wrongdoing, injustice, wickedness, or the downfall of others. Romans 12:9-10 reminds us that love must be sincere, we should hate what is evil, cling to what is good and be devoted to one another in love, honoring one another above ourselves.
PRAYER
We rejoice in Lord God Almighty for You are our Father and none can compare to You. You are Righteous and our righteousness is in You and through You. You are the Light of the world and in Your light we see light. We praise You with harp and make melody to You with an instrument of ten strings. May You grant each one the grace to love You with all our heart, soul, strength and mind and our neighbors as ourselves. Help us dear Jesus to love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. May You cleanse us from every sin and iniquity and wash us with Your precious blood dear Lord Jesus. May You bless the work our hands and prosper us in all our ways. May You give us national leaders of integrity who will do Your will and not prioritize their personal agenda, like David a man after Your own heart Lord. Amen
