THEME: POWER OF SALVATION
Exodus 14:13-14 NKJV
“And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
INSIGHT
–The Israelites experienced the deliverance and salvation of the Lord when He brought them out of captivity in Egypt. The Lord fought for them as they passed through the Red Sea and they experienced His peace from their enemies. In 2 Chronicles 20:17 the Lord comforts king Jehoshaphat and the Israelites that they do not need to fight the battle but to stand still and experience God’s salvation power. Sometimes we go through different battles in our personal lives, families, circumstances, nation, leadership but the Lord is calling us today to be still and experience His salvation.
PRAYER
God You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We will not fear, even though the earth be removed, though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea, though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling, we will be still in You dear Lord Jesus. May You fight for us every battle and set us free from every side. Lord You are our Helper, our every present help in times of need. We worship You Lord and exalt Your name. It is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
