THEME: GRACE OF GOD

Titus 2:11-14 NKJV

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.”

INSIGHT

–The grace of God therefore does not offer a license for immorality and denying Jesus our only Savior and Lord (Jude 1:4), but we shall not continue in sin because we have died to it and cannot live in it any longer through the rebirth of Christ’s death and resurrection. The grace of God teaches us to say no to sin for sin no longer has dominion over us (Romans 6:14), through the redemption by His blood. Christ then calls us to take up the cross daily and follow Him (Luke 9:23).  

PRAYER

We praise You our Lord and God and our inmost beings praise Your holy name. We praise You Lord our Savior and forget not all Your benefits. You who forgives all our sins, heal all our diseases, redeem our lives from the pit and crown us with love and compassion. Thank You for loving us and forgiving all our sins and iniquities. Lord You satisfy our desires with good things so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s, we thank You for Your mercy and grace. Lord You work righteousness and justice for us, due to Your loving-kindness and compassion. Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, You died for us once and for all, and therefore we are dead to sin and alive in You Jesus Christ. You have brought us from death to life and we are Your instruments of righteousness through grace, we worship You. Thank You for Your grace and mercy upon us, we give You all the honor and praise. Amen
