THEME: KINGDOM OF GOD

Mark 1:14-15 NKJV

“Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

INSIGHT

–After preparing the way for Jesus, John was inprisoned by Herod Antipas. Jesus reaffirmed that the kingdom of God is here with us, given to His incurnation, for He become flesh and dwelling among us and we beheld His glory, full of grace and truth (John 1:14). We are called to have faith in Jesus Christ, seek His mercy and grace, and be transformed in our hearts and minds for we are more than conquerors in Him.

PRAYER

We bless You Lord and all that is within us, bless Your holy name. We bless You Lord and forget not all Your benefits, You who forgives all our iniquities, heals all our diseases, redeems our life from destruction, crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercies, satisfies our mouths with good things, so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Thank You for Your grace and truth upon us. We put all our hope and trust in You. We confess with our mouths dear Lord Jesus and believe in our hearts You Lord has raised us from the dead, we will our salvation. In You alone dear Jesus we find victory in You only, we overcome for You who are in us, is greater than the one who is in the world. Amen
