Matthew 6:33 NKJV

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

INSIGHT

–Seeking God should be a priority in our lives which implies continuous, intentional pursuit while looking to Jesus, and not a one time action. Seeking God’s kingdom first means choosing spiritual blessings over earthly concerns and trusting God to handle our needs when our hearts are set on Him. To seek the kingdom means to prioritize living under God’s reign through obedience and Christlike-ness. It is also pursuing God’s standard of holiness and not self-righteousness. When we apply integrity, justice, moral values and look to Jesus for daily transformation, then we have everything that we desire.

PRAYER

We believe and trust in You dear Lord Jesus, for You are good and faithful. We delight ourselves in You and You shall give us our hearts desires. We commit our way to You Lord, look to You, trust in You and believe that whatever we desire You shall bring it to pass. May You remember with mercy all those who are sick and suffering that You may help them and deliver them from their tribulations. May Your hand of mercy deliver all the street families and grant them favor before You and before men. May Your name be lifted high and exalted always Lord, in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
