2 Corinthians 10:4-6
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”
INSIGHT
-Weapons of war literally symbolize elements used in battle. In a spiritual perspective, before a war is won in the natural, one has to be victorious in the spirit. As believers, we should always be aware of the schemes of the enemy and how to win our battles. The Lord has provided us with a variety of spiritual weapons that work to our advantage and for the benefit of His kingdom. Isaiah 58:6 tells us, “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?” It is through fasting that we win every war that present itself in form of heavy burdens, wickedness and yokes fashioned by the enemy who comes to kill, steal and destroy. We are also called to pray always and make and supplication in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:18). It is important then to incorporate prayer and fasting so that we may break every bondage and chain that brings forth infirmity, lack, delay, diseases and death. In Matthew 17:21, Jesus says that, “..this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” Prayer and fasting is a powerful combination of weaponry that enables us to pull down every stronghold, casts down every argument and high thing that exults itself against the knowledge of God, and enables us to live victoriously each day.
PRAYER
Father in the name of Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith. We thank You for Your goodness and grace upon our lives. As we come to the end of this month of May, we count our blessings and name them one by one. We have seen Your hand of grace working in our lives, families, churches, ministries, businesses, work places and nation. It is by grace through faith that You have saved us and not by our works lest anyone should boast. We thank You for Your saving grace upon our lives, take control of everything that pertains us dear Jesus. We are more than conquerors in You Jesus. We shall succeed in all the we do and be of good health because You are always with us Lord. We have victory in You Jesus for nothing is impossible with You. Sanctify us, our families, leaders, purposes, churches and nations with Your precious blood merciful Savior. We break every chain, we pull down every stronghold, we cast down every argument and every high thing that exults itself against Your knowledge Lord and bring every thought into captivity to Your obedience Jesus Christ. We have victory in You Jesus. We have victory by Your precious blood. We receive powerful breakthroughs in Your name Jesus. We declare that our environment and destinies are filled with Your presence Lord and power, and nothing will hinder our progress and success in Your name Jesus. We shall bear much fruit in Your name Jesus Christ, for the glory and honor of Your name. Amen

INSIGHT
-Sometimes spiritual forms of darts are fashioned against believers with the aim of causing lack, diseases, infirmity and other life issues, but the Lord protects us and renews our strength. In Psalms 18:34 king David says that, “He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.” David composed this Psalm to declare praise and thanksgiving to the Lord for delivering him from his enemies and from the hand of king Saul. David encountered many armies and defeated them as indicated in 2 Samuel chapter 8. These include; the Philistines and the Moabites who became subject to him and brought him tribute. He also defeated Hadadezer son of Rehob, king of Zobah, and he captured a thousand of his chariots, seven thousand charioteers and twenty thousand foot soldiers. When king Saul pursued him, the Lord gave him victory and empowered him to overcome. Despite the many weapons that were formed against David, the Lord gave him victory wherever he went. King David was a known worshipper and the Lord gave him victory over all his enemies. Similarly, when king Jehoshaphat was attacked by the inhabitants of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, he worshipped the Lord. As a result, God caused confusion among his enemies who completely destroyed each other (2 Chronicles 20:22-23). King Jehoshaphat and his armies did not fight, but the Lord fought for them, because the battle belonged to Him. Jesus reminds us that even if we face many troubles in this world, He has already overcome the world (John 16:33). This is a cause for us to rejoice in Him always for our righteousness is from Jesus Christ. Worship and thanksgiving is a powerful weapon of war, and the Lord takes charge and fights our battles victoriously.

Ecclesiastes 9:18
“Wisdom is better than weapons of war; But one sinner destroys much good.”
INSIGHT
-Wisdom is supreme and the principle thing, it is vital to seek after it always. In Proverbs 1:7, see that, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Christ is our righteousness, holiness and redemption, who became our wisdom from God (1 Corinthians 1:30). He is the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, to the glory of God the Father. When we read, study and meditate on His word of truth and practice what He teaches us, we abide in Him and His wisdom is found in us. Wisdom is the application of God’s knowledge and understanding given to us through His word. Those who apply His wisdom; enjoy safety and peace, life and blessings. The Holy Spirit reminds us of all truth and settles our hearts with the precious gift of wisdom. The word of God is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). It opens our eyes so that we may see all the traps and temptations of the devil, and enables us to overcome them. Some among us have heard the word and hardened their hearts. They have failed to receive Christ in their hearts and are destined to eternal destruction. When we believe in Jesus, hear His word and do according to His will, we possess a very powerful weapon of war that overcomes every obstacle. The word of God is the sword of the spirit which enables us to conquer all spiritual battles (Ephesians 6:17). Jesus Christ is the door to eternal life and He calls us to believe in Him and His word, and we shall live forever with Him.
PRAYER
This is the day that the Lord has made, we rejoice and are glad in it. Thank You Lord for the gift of life and the air that we breath. Jesus You are our God, our Lord and Savior, we thank You for Your sacrifice on the cross for our sins. Forgive us all our trespasses and wash us with You precious blood. Jesus You are our Bread of life, feed us daily with Your word and help us to hearken to Your voice. You are the Word of truth, teach us dear Jesus to do Your will always. Your word is a light unto our feet and a light to our path, let us see You dear Jesus in all circumstances. You have said in Your word that, if any one lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and He will give unto us. Fill our hearts with the gift of wisdom we humbly ask You Holy Spirit. Let all people know You and believe in You loving Jesus. Grant our family members, friends, colleagues, leaders and all Your people the gift of salvation merciful Savior. Let all people know You and believe in You. Let all people do Your will. You are our Good Shepherd, help us to hear Your voice and follow You. Increase our faith in You dear Jesus and help us to abide in You as You are in us. May Your presence always go with us Holy Spirit to teach us all truth. May Your presence always remain in our hearts, now and forever. Amen
Jeremiah 21:4
“Thus says the LORD God of Israel: “Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, with which you fight against the king of Babylon and the Chaldeans who besiege you outside the walls; and I will assemble them in the midst of this city.”
INSIGHT
-Zedekiah king of Judah was defeated in a conquest by the Babylonian troops and some Israelites were taken into captivity. The Israelites suffered and labored with no pay. They toiled during the day and lay down at night in chains. They were fed like prisoners and their hope was lost. The Babylon and Egyptian captivities are prototypes of how the devil oppresses people today. In Jeremiah chapter 29 the Lord delivers a message of hope through prophet Jeremiah, revealing the good plans He has for His people. Plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. There are so many people who have lost hope in life. Some go through difficult times and cry daily. Many have lost their jobs and loved ones. Some are suffering from deadly illnesses, painful heartbreaks, rejection, hurt, depression and many other forms of disillusionment. It is through such experiences that people loose hope and view life as meaningless. These are the temptations that confront us as we journey through life. Temptations will come but we are called to look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. The devil prowls around like a roaring lion seeking the one to devour, and we are called to be alert and sober minded. We see that when the devil had finished tempting Jesus, he left him until an opportune time (Luke 4:13). He sorts for an opportune time to kill, steal and destroy, but he defeated through the finished work of Christ on the cross. Even if temptations come, God is always faithful to us. He will never let us to be tempted beyond what we can bear. He always provides a way out so that we can endure. He will never leave us nor forsake us. We are called to have strong and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, which is very powerful weapon of war that can never fail. If we believe in Jesus Christ, we have the gift of eternal life.
PRAYER
We love You Lord for Your mercies has never failed us. We give You all the glory, honor and praise for You have always protected us, provided for us, sustained us, healed our wounds, directed us. We shall not be moved. We find rest in You alone loving Father. Only You are our Shelter and Shield, all our hope and trust is in You. We trust in You Lord our God and learn not on our own understanding. We surrender our burdens and anxieties to You Jesus for You care for us. We shall not be shaken or moved for You are always with us. You will never leave us nor forsake us. We praise Your holy name. All our faith and hope is in You Jesus. Vindicate us Lord and save us. Plead our cause against unfaithful nations. Rescue us from those who are deceitful and wicked. Vindicate us Lord for we have integrity and trust in You without wavering. Examine us Lord, and test us. Evaluate our inner thoughts and motives. For we are ever aware of Your faithfulness and Your loyalty continually motivates us. You are our Righteousness Lord, we rely on You alone. Deliver us dear Jesus from all our trials and temptations. Save us from the snares of the wicked one and cover us with Your precious blood. All our hope and trust is in You Jesus. Lord You are close to the broken hearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Vindicate us dear Jesus and save us. Save all those who are sick and suffering. Save those who are in prison and in chains. Save those who have experienced divorce, separation and heart breaks. Save those who have lost their loved ones. Save all the orphans and widows. Save all the street families and deliver them. Save all those who have lost their jobs and experience losses in their businesses. Save all those who have lost hope in life and are contemplating suicide. Save our economy and bless our land. Save our nation from corruption and injustice. Save all those who do not believe in You Jesus. Save us from the proud, who threaten us with power, wealth, status and witchcraft. Save us from the oppressor dear Jesus. Break every chain that hinders our progress with Your precious blood Jesus. Open every closed door in our lives, families, destinies, ministries, businesses, careers and nation, in Your name Jesus. Fight for us dear Jesus, for the battle belongs to You. Bless us Abba Father and accelerate us in Your purposes and divine breakthroughs. Save us dear Jesus and cover us with Your precious blood. Save us dear Jesus our only hope of salvation. All our hope and trust is in You, now and forever. Amen
Revelation 12:11
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
INSIGHT
-We are more than over-comers, we who are in Christ Jesus. Christ is our faithful witness, the first born from the dead, and ruler of the kings of the earth, loves us and set us free from our sin by His precious blood (Revelation 1:5). Therefore, there is great power in His blood and in His name. Through this power we overcome the wicked strategies of the devil formed against us. The same power of Christ will bring to an end the reign of the devil and his agents. We are called to pray as we proclaiming the blood of Jesus Christ upon our live, families and every other thing for protecting and sanctification, and the name of Jesus over every situation, for we have victory in Christ.
SUMMARY
The Iron Dome is part of a multi-tiered missile defense system that Israel has continually developed. It is aimed at protecting the country and its people from threats. From its launch in the year 2011, the iron dome has intercepted more missiles than any other known device. It is thus considered the most reliable invention against missile attacks the world has ever seen. It is designed to operate both during the day and night, under adverse weather conditions, and can respond to multiple threats simultaneously. It has three main functions:- to detect and exterminate missiles, battle management and weapon control, and has a missile firing system. Unlike the iron dome which is a physical arsenal of war, human beings battle spiritual wars which require spiritual ammunition. 2 Corinthians 2:11 enlightens us, that we should not be unaware of the schemes of the devil that he may not outwit us. When one is going for war, they need to know who their enemy is and what kind of ammunition is in their possession. When we know of the schemes of the enemy, we can better apply the spiritual weapons of war against any attach that may be fashioned against us. The devils plan is basically to kill, steal and destroy. Galatians 4:3-5 tells us that, “when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world. But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.” To fight spiritual wars effectively, we need to arm ourselves with spiritual weapons, provided to us by God. Like the iron dome which is able to detect and capture missiles midair without human intervention, God protects us and shields us often times that we know of. Sometimes we are deep asleep and God sends His angels to protect us. Other times we are protected against diseases, accidents, death and other forms of attack. The Bible says that, the just shall live by faith (Hebrews 10:38). It is through faith in Christ that we are justified, not by law. It is by faith through grace that we have been saved not by our own works. Weapons of war are spiritual armaments that have been provided to us believers on account of the finished work of Christ. First, we need to have strong and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, our Salvation and Shield. Second, it is paramount to always give thanks to God and worship Him in all situations. When we worship the Lord, He fights our battles. Prayer and fasting is another powerful arsenal of war that many ignore. It is a way to break every spiritual chain and bring forth freedom from all forms of oppression. Jesus fasted and prayed often and He won all the battles for Himself and for us. Fourth, is the word of God which is living and powerful. It is sharper than a two edged sword, that separates the soul and spirit, joints and marrow to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. The word of God fills us with God’s wisdom and cleanses our evil hearts clean. Last but not least, is the blood and name of Jesus Christ. These are powerful weapons that will bring the devil and his agents down, and they will be thrown into the lake of fire. We are therefore called to take dominion of the earth, as kings and priests to God, and dwell in peace and prosperity in Christ Jesus.
PRAYER
Lord You are good and Your mercies endures forever. How awesome are Your works loving Jesus. Through the greatness of Your power, Your enemies submit themselves to You. All the earth shall worship You and sing praises to You loving Savior. They shall sing praises to Your name. Your name is powerful Jesus, we proclaim healing upon all those who are sick, deliverance upon every captive, restoration upon everything that is lost, and abundant blessings and salvation unto us and our generations. May sickness, lack, struggle, depression, premature death be our distant enemy in You name Jesus. May we always live under an open heaven. Acquaint us dear Jesus with our heritage, destiny, mission, vision, assignment, relationships, resources, timing and strategies, and grant us success. Bring us up to speed with our mission and purpose here on earth for the glory and honor of Your name. May favor, affluence, influence, divinity, friendships, companionships, associations, partnerships and support be our constant companions. May our lives reflect Your glory and divinity Lord. May we have constant favor before You Lord and before men and women. Give us successful negation skills dear Jesus. May we will live a legacy here on earth for the glory and honor of Your name Lord. Bless the work of our hands dear Jesus and increase us. We will have much more to give for kingdom work and progression. Deliver us from unforgiveness, bitterness and hatred, and forgive our trespasses too. Cover us with Your precious blood Jesus and protect us from all evil snares. Help us to love You Lord and our neighbors as ourselves. May our bless come upon us and overtake us. Release divine angelic escorts to lead us to God’s promises and the promised land. May the light of Your word Lord lead us into Your purposes Lord. May Your joy, love and peace overwhelm our souls Holy Spirit. May our homes be a heaven of peace, and we will lack no good thing. May Your peace dear Jesus be felt all over the world. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Amen
