Colossians 3:15 NKJV
“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”
INSIGHT
–The peace of Christ is not merely a calm personality or a state of the mind but a conditioning of the heart. The peace of Christ originates from His victory on the cross which is our reconciliation point with God. Believers are exhorted to allow Christ’s peace to overrule our hearts and to express it through reconciliation with one another.
PRAYER
We thank You dear Lord Jesus for Your sacrifice on the cross that has brought about our forgiveness, healing and reconciliation. Thank You Abba Father for You have reconciled us to Yourself through Jesus Christ, and have given us the ministry of reconciliation. Thank You for allowing us the privillege to become Your ambassadors dear Lord Jesus Christ, that we may be more like You and represent You here on earth. May You empower us in our callings and mandates for the glory and honor of Your name. May You sanctify us mind, body, soul, and spirit and cleanse us with Your precious blood dear Lord Jesus. May Your peace rule over our hearts and teach us to be thankful in every circumstance. All glory, honor, power and strength belongs to You dear Lord Jesus, now and forever. Amen
