Revelation of the Word 24/10/2025 Admin
THEME: ARISE AND SHINE
1 Corinthians 15:20-22 NKJV
“But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.”
INSIGHT
–The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just a mere doctrine, but the hope that defines our Christian faith. Adam the first man was created, he died and decayed, and through Christ we experience eternal life and glory.
SUMMARY
The theme arise and shine discloses the purpose and power of being awakened, renewed, and restored in Jesus Christ. Arise has diverse meaning that align us to both the physical and spiritual emergence and awakening. Shine connotes to radiate God’s glory and therefore a call to reveal His presence to the world. We are the light of the world and we are called to arise and shine before men so that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:14-16). We are also called to awake from our sleep and arise from the dead, for Christ is the giver of light (Ephesians 5:14). To arise through the fear of the Lord and to delight in His commandments, and shine through His righteousness in our lives, great descendants on the earth, wealth and riches bestowed upon us and His light, grace and compassion shall forever be provided unto us (Psalms 112:1-4). When we arise and shine, the light of the Lord and His glory will always be found with and within us (Isaiah 60:1-2).
PRAYER
We give thanks to You Lord, for You are good and Your steadfast love endures forever. Lord You have said in Your word that blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to Your law Lord, and those who keep Your statutes and seek You with all their heart. May You bless us and enlighten our steps. May You provide for all our needs and release spiritual, family, leadership, work and business, financial and economic breakthroughs etc. Dear Lord Jesus gold and silver belong to You, may You bless our nation and make us prosperous. In You dear Lord we find life and life everlasting. May You protect us against all forms of wickedness and evil upon Kenya and all people in Jesus Name. Dear Lord Jesus, may You do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask of or think of according to the power that is at work in us. Lord, we trust in You and exalt You. We believe that You are able to do more than we can think of or imagine. We believe that we shall be extremely fruitful since we abide in You and You in us. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in Your house forever. May You bless us and keep us loving Father, may You shine Your face upon us and be gracious to us. May You lift up Your countenance towards us and give us peace. Amen
Blessed Weekend
