THEME: GRACE OF GOD

2 Corinthians 9:8 NKJV

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”

INSIGHT

God has the capacity, ability and power to fulfill His promises and provide abundantly. God calls us to give freely knowing that He replenishes our resources, give cheerfully with joyful hearts and trust in God’s provision believing that God can provide for all our needs and for every good work.

SUMMARY

Grace is written as chanan in Hebrew and charis in Greek which refers to a gift that cannot be repaid, or to God’s merciful grace. The grace of God is a disposition or consciousness of understanding in the limitless provision of the riches of Christ. Grace is the spiritual empowerment or enablement that results from this consciousness. God in His rich mercy and great love which He loved us and gave us His gift of grace and when we were dead in trespasses He made us alive together with Christ. God has saved us by His exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. It is by grace that the Lord has saved us through faith and not of ourselves and not of works, lest anyone should boast (Ephesians 2:4-9). The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ (Titus 2:11-13). The grace of God make us who we are and what we have become (1 Corinthians 15:10), and to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift (Ephesians 4:7). God has loved us and redeemed us through His blood and offers the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace. He has predestined us to adoption of sons by Christ Himself according to the good pleasure of His will (Ephesians 1:3-7)

PRAYER

Your grace Lord is enough for us, thank You for allowing us to be called Your children. May Your grace abound in us in every good work. May Your divine enablement empower us to move from one level to the next in You dear Lord Jesus. May Your grace be upon us, our families and nation, and protect us from all evil plans of the devil. May nothing stand in the way of You coming to do that which You promised to do, for You are a faithful wonderful God. Lord may You hear us and answer our deepest hearts’ desires. May You do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask of or think of according to the power that is at work in us. Lord we trust in You and exalt You. We believe that You are able to do more than we can think of or imagine. We believe that we shall be extremely fruitful since we abide in You and You in us. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in Your house forever. May You bless us and keep us loving Father, may You shine Your face upon us and be gracious to us. May You lift up Your countenance towards us and give us peace. Amen

Blessed Weekend
