John 16:33
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
INSIGHT
-In Gal 4:3-7, When we were children, were in bondage under elements of the world. But in the fullness of time, God sent forth His Son born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God had sent forth the Spirit of His son into your hearts. Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, if a son, then a heir of God through Christ.
-Rest is symbolised by the sabbath day which is holy/ God’s presence is the source of rest/ Christ gave us rest from our works by dying on the cross/rest comes by rejoicing in the Lord in all situations in prayer, supplications & thanksgiving.
PRAYER
Abba Father, we thank You & give You praise for everything You have done unto us. We are Your son’s take control of the thrones of our lives. We welcome You into our hearts to mold us physically, spiritually & mentally. May Your peace abide within us now & forever. Amen
