John‬ ‭4:21-26‬ ‭

“Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”

-Jesus had an interaction with the Samaritan woman and interrogated her thoughts. Even though Jews were not supposed to communicate with Samaritans, Jesus broke that barrier and asked for water. The Samaritans believed that water from the well of Jacob, where she was drawing from was sacred, but Jesus promised her living water that springs forth into everlasting life. Jesus also disclosed some secrets regarding her marital status and the Samaritan woman discerned that Jesus was a prophet. Some among us including the Islamic religion have only interacted with Jesus Christ as a prophet, and are yet to experience His power of resurrection and gift of eternal life. They believe in worshipping God from certain places like Mecca, but Jesus calls all people and nations to break religious barriers, and worship Him in spirit and in truth. The Samaritan woman left her water pot and went into the city of Samaria to witness Christ. Jesus stayed with them for two days and many of them believed in Him. Jesus is calling us all to believe in Him, and He will give us the gift of eternal life. When we believe in Jesus, He outpours the Holy Spirit in our hearts and we are able to experience true worship, and His precious gift of salvation.

‭‭‬‬‬Jesus You are the King of kings and Lord of lords. Only You worthy to be worshipped, honored and praised. Only You deserve to be adored and exulted. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ You are Lord to the glory of God the Father. All creation worship You Jesus Christ in all the heavens and the earth. May You helps us all to believe in You including our Muslim brothers and sisters. May You teach us Your word and help us to know You and to worship You in spirit and truth. May You forgive us all our sins and wash us with Your precious blood. We believe in Jesus Christ and proclaim Your name in all the nations. May You teach us to do Your will and to witness You in all the earth. We give You praise and honor You dear Jesus for only You are worthy Lamb of God who was slain to take away our sins. Only You are God and there is none like You Jesus. May You answer all our prayers and hearts desires according to Your merciful love. May You make all our plans succeed according to Your divine promises. May You bless us with every spiritual blessing and teach us to exercise our gifts for the glory and honor of Your name. May You bless our nation and give us right leaders who will only do Your will. May Your peace that surpasses all understanding dwell with us now and forever. Amen

Blessed Week
