2 Corinthians 5:19-20 NKJV
“that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.”
INSIGHT
–In Greek, an ambassador is written as presbuteros which means a representative, elder, honorable or high-ranking person. An ambassador does not speak to please his audience, but the king who sent him. An ambassador does not act or speak on his own authority, opinion or demand, but he/she simply says what he has been commissioned to say. An ambassador is more than a messenger, he is also a representative, and the honor and reputation of his country are in his hands. As an ambassador, Paul makes a simple, strong, direct plea, to the church in Corinth that they need to be reconciled to God. Believers are called Christs’ ambassadors who speak on behalf of Jesus in witness to the work of His saving grace as the salt and the light of the world. It is evident then that we are called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ who is actively reconciling the world to Himself.

“I have heard a message from the Lord, And an ambassador has been sent to the nations: “Gather together, come against her, And rise up to battle!”
INSIGHT
-An envoy was sent to the nations calling the people to battle against Edom. The city of Edom felt a sense of serenity through her allies and her mountain fortresses. The wise men in this city pridefully beat their chests and did not honor God. Therefore judgement was declared by the prophet Obadiah upon Edom, for her hostility against Israel, that’s parallels Jeremiah’s proclamation. Thus a decree declared by these ambassadors to sensitize the Israelites to arise against this city in battle, for its destruction. As believers we are called to uphold justice in our areas of influence. To also look after the orphans and widows in their trouble, and keep ourselves unspotted from the world, which is pure and undefiled religion before God (James 1:27).
PRAYER
Almighty Heavenly Father, we thank You for enabling us to see this new month in good health. That You for this far that You have brought us and the far that You are journeying with us. We count our blessings and name them one by one. We come before Your throne of grace this day so as to obtain mercy and grace to help us during our time of need. Father we exult You and enthrone You in our lives, for there is none like You. You are a great and mighty God and none can be compared to You. We surrender our lives unto You and repent for all our sins and disobedience. Father we humble ourselves before You and submit to Your Lordship. We pray that we shall be Your faithful ambassadors who obey You and represent You in the nations. We pray that our lives shall be a living testimony and a living sacrifice to show forth Your glory. Father may You defend the poor and fatherless, and do justice to the afflicted and needy. May You deliver the poor and needy, and free them from the hand of the wicked. Holy Spirit we welcome You in our lives to lead us and guide us in Your work of grace in the mandate that You have called us. We welcome You to transform us to be the faithful envoys of You our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and fight for us every battle. We pray that You bless our nation and liberate us from every form of slavery and oppression. May You grant us peace, unity and prosperity for You names sake dear Jesus. We pray this believing and trusting In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Proverbs 13:17 NKJV
“A wicked messenger falls into trouble, But a faithful ambassador brings health.”
INSIGHT
–The Psalmist demystifies the value of a trustworthy ambassador who delivers accurate and edifying information. The result is peace, reconciliation and problem resolution. This person acts with integrity and his actions foster trust, leading to positive effects such as healing and restoration within the community or between individuals. In contrast, a wicked envoy has questionable credentials of unreliability, dishonesty, and corruption in delivering his messages. Such a person may cause havoc, harm, create confusion, or bring trouble upon themselves and others. Luke 6:45 reminds us that, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” We are thus called to uphold Christlike qualities including honesty, integrity and reliability, which not only benefit the messenger but also the recipient of the message for the glory of God’s name.
PRAYER
We praise You O Lord our God with all our hearts and tell of all Your marvelous works. We are glad and rejoice in You. We sing praises to Your name, our Lord and God Most High and glorify Your name forever. You are great and powerful Lord and our enemies perish at Your presence. You have maintained our right and cause, You who is seated on the throne judging in righteousness. May You cleanse our hearts from all evil for they are deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. May You form our hearts to be more like Yours dear Lord Jesus. May You train our mouths to be like Yours and our speech to emulate Your goodness. We honor You and give You praise, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen

“for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.”
INSIGHT
-Apostle Paul a dedicated minister of Christ served Him both in physical and imaginary chains. He explains his role in spreading the Gospel, even while being imprisoned. Paul refers to himself as an ambassador in chains, emphasizing that he remains a representative of Christ, despite his physical confinement. The metaphor of being an “ambassador” implies that Paul is on a mission from a higher authority, that is God, and his “chains” represent the persecution he endures for fulfilling that mission. Apostle Paul suffered for the gospel. He was arrested in Jerusalem by a violent mob that sort to kill him (Acts 21:26-36). Apostle Paul a prisoner of Christ was fully committed to Christ, and declared that he was crucified with Christ it is no longer he who lived but Christ who lived in Him (Galatians 2:20). This is the same declaration that we are called to daily as believers in our walk of faith and work of ministry.
PRAYER
Almighty Father, we thank You and honor Your name. We surrender ourselves to You in humble adoration for our lives belong to You. We thank You for You died on the cross for us and purchased us at a price. We now live in You and for You for we are Your prisoners and ambassadors, everlasting Savior. May You take charge of our lives fully Holy Spirit, we welcome You and need Your grace daily. May You fill us with Your righteousness in our lives, families, communities and nation. May Your peace and righteousness reign our Lord and God. May You grant the gift of salvation unto all people and all nations for Your names sake. May You deliver all those who suffer chains through disease, infirmity, lack, delay, persecution and other challenges. May You deliver all the street families and grant them Your peace in every sphere of their lives. We honor You Lord and exult Your name, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen

Genesis 41:39-44 NKJV
“Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you. You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.” And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.” Then Pharaoh took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand; and he clothed him in garments of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck. And he had him ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried out before him, “Bow the knee!” So he set him over all the land of Egypt. Pharaoh also said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, and without your consent no man may lift his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.”
INSIGHT
–Joseph became the prime minister in Egypt and the second in command in the nation. He ruled over all the people and his authority was not only felt in Egypt but in all the neighboring countries. Joseph preserved grain during the first seven years of plenty and sold it during the seven years of lack. Joseph was an ambassador to the nations, and his tale demonstrates the preservation work of Jesus Christ, who provides for us during plentiful times and seasons of drought. We are called to be ambassador to the entire world and represent Jesus Christ and kingdom citizens as we preach the gospel and live it daily.
SUMMARY
An ambassador is an appointee representing heaven on earth and he/she is appointed by the king. An ambassadors task offers diplomacy and international relations. Paul speaking to the Corinthians, reveals the message of reconciliation and pleads with the people to be reconciled with God. For it is God through Christ who reconciles the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to us, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation, then we are ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:19-20). An ambassador must we well behaved and should be able to represent his/her country with dignity. Proverbs 13:17 reveals that, “A wicked messenger falls into trouble, but a faithful ambassador brings health.” An ambassador must remain in constant communication with his government and speaks the message of his/her king given a situation of war or peace. Jeremiah 49:14 tells us that an ambassador was sent to the nations the people should together and rise up to battle against Edom. An ambassador seeks the interests of his nation and to pursue its influence in another country. Believers are the property of heaven even though we live on earth. As the government is responsible of taking care of its ambassadors wherever they are, so does the kingdom of God take care of our needs. We are ambassadors of Christ thus we share in all these privileges as our rights in the kingdom of God. It doesn’t matter what your background was, who you were or what you did. We receive diplomatic immunity once we accept Jesus as our personal Savior. We then become fruitful for our government and Father who at in heaven, supplying all our needs according to His riches in glory, in Christ Jesus. God calls us to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all other things He will add unto us (Matthew 6:33). The ambassador’s life does not belong to himself but the one who sent him. Paul was an ambassador in chains that he may only represent the one who sent him (Ephesians 6:20). Our total commitment should be in Christ Jesus who formed us and purchased us with His precious blood, and we belong to Him.
PRAYER
As a deer pants for brooks of water so our souls thirst for You Lord. We are Your ambassadors dear Jesus may You use us for Your glory. If we live, we live for You Jesus, and if we die, we die for You. Whether we live or die, we belong to You Jesus our loving Master. Thank You for loving us and for choosing us. May You help us and strengthen us with Your power and grace to accomplish the work that You have assigned us to do here on earth, for the glory and honor of Your name. Our Father who art in heaven; hallowed be Your name; Your Kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptations but deliver us from evil; for thine is the Kingdom the power and the glory; forever and ever. May You bless us abundantly so that in all things at all times having all that we need, we may abound in every good work. May You bless us and keep us dear Jesus. May You shine Your face towards us and be gracious unto us. May You show Your countenance unto us and give us peace. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forevermore. Amen.
