THEME: WAIT ON GOD

Hebrews 9:28 NKJV

“so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.”

INSIGHT

–Jesus died once and for all offering forgiveness of sins for our sanctification (Hebrews 10:10). Christ’s second appearance will not be for sin-bearing, but to bring salvation to those eagerly waiting for Him. Those who wait on Him in faithful anticipation of His return. We are called to wait patiently on the Lord as we work out our salvation with fear and trembling awaiting His second coming.

PRAYER

We come to Your throne of grace with boldness dear Jesus that we receive grace and mercy to help us during our time of need. We wait on You Lord with courage, knowing that You shall surely strengthen our hearts. Yes we will wait on You in every area and aspect of our lives. Through Your mercies Lord we are not consumed, because Your compassions fail not, they are new every morning, great is Your faithfulness. Dear Lord You are our portion we hope in You. Lord You are good to those who wait for You, to those who seek You. We hope and wait quietly for Your salvation Oh Lord, knowing that You will never leave us nor forsake us having the mark of You Holy Spirit. You are the King of kings and Lord of lords, may Your name be exalted and praised dear Jesus. Amen
