THEME: FALSE PROPHETS

Matthew 24:23-24 NKJV

“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”

INSIGHT

–Jesus Christ is coming soon; on a day and hour that no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, apart from the Father (Matthew 24:36). We are cautioned from falling into the trap of falsehood given to false prophets estimating the date and time when Jesus will come. Further, orchestration of great signs and wonders not performed in the name of Jesus. Revelation 16:15 confirms that Jesus is coming as a thief, and blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame. We are called to pass through the narrow gate that leads to eternal life and not the wide path that leads to destruction. May we be found worthy at the coming of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER

Thank You dear Lord Jesus for Your abundance of grace upon our lives. You have loved us with so much great love; we exalt Your holy name. We declare that we shall not deceived by false prophets who estimate the date and time of Your return dear Lord and Savior Jesus. We shall not suffer shame but we shall be clothes in Your glory Lord by Your grace. We shall not sleep but remain awake in faith, in prayer, in communion with You precious Holy Spirit. We shall be found worthy to inherit Your kingdom Lord when Your Day dear Lord Jesus comes. May You help us to walk through the narrow path that leads to life everlasting. Thank You for You have saved us by faith through grace, and not by ourselves lest anyone should boast. We honor You are give You praise, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
