Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous;
-Bless in Hebrew is written as barak & it means grant, give, donate, praise, worship, adore, greet, felicitate, sanctify, consecrate, hallow, magnify
-Isaac was blessed according to the promise of the Lord to his father Abraham. The Lord promised Abraham that he will be a great nation; his name will be great and he will be a blessing (Gen 12:2). Since we are Abrahams offspring according to the promise, we share in his blessings.
-Let us continue praying for the Lord to have mercy on us & establish the work of our hands according to Psalm 90:17.
We praise You Father for the gift of life & for starting a new week in good health. Be with us in all that we do & establish the work of our hands. Help all those who are jobless to get employment or businesses, so that we may be prosperous in the land. May all our toil be a blessing to many & may we bear much fruit. Amen
Blessed Labour Day
