Proverbs 18:10 NKJV
“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.”
INSIGHT
–Freedom in Greek is written as eleutheria which means to liberate or set free from an adverse situation, slavery, injury etc. The name of the Lord is equal to His person since it expresses His nature and qualities. His name is powerful, and we are called to take refuge in it and in Him. Jesus took the keys of hades of death and He lives forever more (Revelation 1:18). At His name every knee should bow, of those in heaven and of those on earth and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11). We are called to run to the name of the Lord and find safety in every sphere of our lives.
PRAYER
We love You Lord our Strength and Shield. We run to Your name Jesus and find safety and peace for our souls. Jesus You are our Rock, Fortress and Deliverer, our Strength in whom we put our trust. You are our Shield and the horn of our Salvation, our Stronghold and Safety. We call upon Your name Lord for You are worthy to be praised, may You save us and liberate us from our enemies. May You set us free from the fowler’s snare and deadly pestilence. May You cover us with Your feathers so that we may find refuge under Your wings. We declare that no disaster shall come near our tents and no harm shall overtake us for You shall command Your angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways. May You rescue us and protect us from trouble. May You go ahead of our us to grant us peace and prosperity together with our families and nation, dear Lord Jesus. May You satisfy us with long life and show us Your salvation. Amen
