“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”
INSIGHT
-Jesus alleges that He is the Root & Offspring of David meaning He came from that genealogy to earth (Mat 1:1). In Mat 22:45-46, Jesus addressed the Pharisees saying that, If David called Him Lord, how is He then David’s son. After this they never questioned Him again.
PRAYER
Jesus our Father, we praise You & magnify Your holy name. May Your word manifest in our lives as we prepare to begin yet another year. Amen
