Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. And she went and filled the skin with water, and gave the lad a drink.
INSIGHT
-In Hebrew, eye is written as ayin & it means like, sight, look, displease, appearance, aperture, hole, observe, contemplate, gaze, guide
-Hagar & Ishmael were in the wilderness of Beersheba when they used up the bread & water they were given by Abraham. Hagar lost hope & was waiting for Ishmael to die as she wept. The Lord heard her cry & opened her eyes to see a source of water.
PRAYER
Open our spiritual eyes, Lord so that we may not miss the things You want to show us. May You open up for us more opportunities in our personal lives, families & as a nation as we remember how far we have come. Hear our petitions & reveal to us the source of water that we need most. Amen
