THEME: TIMES AND SEASONS

Ecclesiastes 3:1

“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:”

INSIGHT

-The word for “seasons” in Greek is kairos which carries the meaning of fixed or special occasions, and the word “times” is chronos and refers to the general time frame of events in God’s plan. God is the author of times and seasons, and created everything that exists for a purpose. From the beginning, God created the the heavens and the earth, and designed diverse lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night, signs from seasons, days from years (Genesis 1:14). God appointed the moon for seasons and the sun knows its going down(Psalms 104:19). These times and seasons stem from everlasting to everlasting while the earth remains in existence. Therefore, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease (Genesis 8:22). God causes the rain and the snow to come down from heaven, and they do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater (Isaiah 55:10). Before God created man, He created the solar system, prepared land and sea for habitation, and life on the entire earth. This is God’s design for mankind to coexist with each other and bond with the ecosystem, for the glory of His name. He created us in His own image and likeness, that we may be like Him and represent Him on the earth, for His glory. God is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). Before He formed us in our mothers wombs, He knew us and predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will (Ephesians 1:5). It is therefore important to note that we were created for a purpose, especially to advance God’s kingdom according to His image and likeness of love. God is Sovereign and desires that we succeed in His purpose for us, and according to His divine will. These times and seasons where designed for us to accomplish His good pleasures. We rejoice in the Lord for He has good plans for us for us in every aspect of our lives, plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future.

PRAYER

Lord our God You are the same yesterday, today and forever. You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. Thank You for enabling us to see this new month in peace and good health. Remember with mercy loving Savior all those who are sick that You may restore their health and grant them Your grace. You are on the throne Abba Father thank You for this far that You have brought us and the far that You are taking us. Thank You for the plans that You have for us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. May You level the mountains for us dear Jesus and fight for us in all our battle. Heaven is Your throne and the earth Your footstool, all victory and honor belongs to You. May Your purposes for our lives come to pass in our lives at the appointment time. May You break every plan of the enemy working in our lives, relationships, marriages, businesses, work, churches, ministries, leadership and nation. You are not an author of confusion dear Jesus, may You make a way for us where there seems to be no way. We humbly ask You to forgive us all our trespasses and remove every accusation against us and our families in the courts of heaven by Your precious blood. May You grant us victory in every thing that pertains to our lives and future. You created us in Your own image and likeness dear Jesus, that we may represent You here on the earth. Grant in us the gift of wisdom and faith that we may please You dear Jesus. Form in us the fruit of love and the spirit of the fear of You Lord, that we may follow after Your heart dear Jesus. All glory, praise and honor belongs to You Jesus, now and forever. Amen
