THEME: GRACE OF GOD

Romans 5:1-2

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.”

INSIGHT

-Abraham the father of faith; believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness and he was called a friend of God (James 2:23). He believed that God who promised would give him the courage to sacrifice his only son Isaac. He applied the same faith he had before the birth of his son Isaac; at an old age. Because of his strong faith he was justified, for the just shall live by faith (Galatians 3:11). God made a covenant of grace with him, one that was a reflection of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through faith then, we are justified and have the hope of seeing Christ as He is when He is revealed. By this hope we purify ourselves, just as Christ is pure (1 John 3:2-3). Through this covenant of grace that comes through faith, we have become friends of God and not only that, but children of God also, and the Holy Spirit makes an eternal seal within us. God therefore imparts unto us an eternal blessing; that is the gift of salvation, and we live in grace, prosperity and peace forever.

PRAYER

Abba Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace upon our lives. Your grace is sufficient for us, we praise Your holy name. Thank You for making us Your children, we bless Your holy name. We count our blessings and name them one by one. We thank You for making us Your friends, we exult Your holy name. We raise Your banner high in our lives, homes, relationships, places of worship, work places, schools and nation. May Your name be greatly praised in all the nations. May You be worshipped by all; in heaven, on earth and under the earth. Only You Jesus are worthy to be glorified and praised. Only You are the King of kings and Lord of lords. We thank You and bless Your holy name. Thank You for granting us favor and peace. We commit our families and nation unto You Jesus grant us peace and unity always. We commit all those who are married and those who are unmarried under Your able hands, may You do a new thing in their lives. Be with all our children as they prepare to go to school and grant them wisdom. Impart in all those are undertaking exams and presentations with wisdom, knowledge and understanding, that they may excel in all that they do. Guide all those who intent to undertake construction and other project with Your wisdom. May You heal all the sick and mend every broken heart dear Jesus. Give hope to the hopeless and strength to the weak for You are a loving and caring God. Be with all lost children that You may reunite them with their families. Remember merciful Father all the street families and children living in the streets that You may provide a better life for them. Father, may You resurrect all that has been dead in our lives, families, finances, businesses, career, economy, health, all for the glory and honor of Your name. Increase our faith Jesus and allow may to believe in You. Surely; there is none like You Lord, receive all the praise, honor and adoration. Surely; goodness and mercy shall follow us; all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in Your house Lord; forever. Amen
