THEME: GRACE OF GOD

Hebrews 4:16

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

INSIGHT

-The grace of God is generally defined as obtaining His unmerited favor. It is acknowledging God’s promises given through His covenants in our lives. We have received grace that came through Jesus Christ by His love. Grace is normally attributed to the number five or the month of May, which denotes divine fruitfulness. In Leviticus 25:19 we see that, “But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit. In this way your harvest will be increased. I am the Lord your God”. God reminds us to approach His throne of grace with confidence knowing that we are His children and we belong to Him. Ephesians 2:6 reminds us that, “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus”. As children of God through faith in Jesus Christ, let us know our position in Christ and have the confidence required to encounter Him in our lives. Sometimes we labor to find rest and the results are not desirable. God calls us to enter His throne of grace through prayer and thanksgiving, He will give us mercy and grace resulting to rest. Apostle Paul encountered a thorn in his flesh and three times he pleaded with God to take it away from him, and the Lord said to him, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:8-9). It is through God’s grace that we experience breakthrough in every stormy situation that we face in our lives, families, nation and the world. When we dwell in God’s presence; His mercy and grace will surely follow us and we will obtain favor and His blessings.

PRAYER

We thank You Lord Jesus for Your kindness, mercy, compassion and grace as we move forward into this new month of May. May we always obtain mercy and grace to help us during our time of need. May You take away all our fears, anxieties and shortcomings, and grant us rest. May You forgive us all our trespasses and wash us with Your precious blood. May You heal everyone who is sick and heal our land dear Jesus. May You Jesus Christ take away all our burdens and grant us Your grace. May Your sufficient grace always be with us and Your power be made perfect in weakness. May You grant us divine fruitfulness and increase our harvest. May You bless and expand our territories dear Jesus. May Your grace nourish us divinely and strengthen our faith in You. May You anoint us afresh to walk in Your divine blessings and purpose. May Your promises come to pass in our lives. May You grant us new technologies, methodologies, tactics and innovative strategies that are cutting-edge to execute Your plan and purpose in our lives and society. May You give us Your grace to do Your will in our lives. May we always encounter You in our lives, families, nation and the entire world. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forevermore. Amen
