“Now, O LORD my God, You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I am a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in.”
INSIGHT
-When King Solomon received a divine dream, he reported his inexperience in leadership & lack of wisdom like a little child. With these genuine inadequacies in intellectual power & humble exposure of his unfeigned desires geared towards good governance, God graciously granted him wisdom to rule the people by applying the law & Gods’ judicial invocation. God calls everyone who lacks wisdom to ask from Him & He will give liberally to all; without reproach (Jam 1:5). We know that wisdom is the principal thing & in all our getting we are called to get understanding for these will guide us in our various interactions & responsibilities in pursuit of the Kingdom agenda which we have been created for; according to the will of the Father.
PRAYER
Father we thank for this opportunity to see yet another beautiful day. It is not by our power or might by Your Spirit Lord. We are Your little children; have mercy on us & grant us the gift of wisdom Holy Spirit for our souls yearn for You. Direct us in truth & justice we humbly ask You Jesus, & help us to be responsible leaders in our areas of domain. You have called us to be kings & priests with a mandate to rule on earth, direct us in Your wisdom Lord. May Your will Father; prevail above all else. Amen
