Romans 8:15-17
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
INSIGHT
-We received the Spirit of sonship from God & not of fear. The Holy Spirit bears witness that we are children God & joint heirs with Christ thus giving us courage to face challenges with boldness. When we suffer we have assurance of eternal victory in God.
PRAYER
Abba Father, thank You for reminding me that I am Your child & a joint heir with Christ Your son. Comfort me always in my need & let me enjoy victory in all forms of suffering. Thank you for the tender mercies & loving kindness that You show me everyday. Amen.
