Matthew 19:21
Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
INSIGHT
-Jesus reminds the rich young man to unplug from the love of money & give to the needy so that he could inherit the kingdom of God.
-Wealth comes through wisdom, giving tithe & to the needy, following the Word of God & God’s will. Love of wealth could also be a form of idol worship.
PRAYER
Jesus Christ, thank You for making me perfect by dying for my sins. Have mercy on me & cleanse me so that I may inherit Your kingdom. Guide me in Your word so that I can store up my treasures in heaven where it doesn’t fail & thiefs cannot steal or destroy. Bless the work of my hands so that I may never borrow but lend to many nations. This I pray believing & trusting in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
