Proverbs 3:1-3
My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you. Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart,
INSIGHT
-We are reminded to always remember the laws of the Lord & keep His commandments in the heart for the result is long life & peace. Mercy & truth should also be part of our lives inscribed in our hearts & bound round our necks to sustain our lives.
-Prov 4:23-24, Guard your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, And put perverse lips far from you.
PRAYER
May Your laws & commands be incribed in our hearts; O Lord, to share in Your mercy & truth. You are The way, truth & life; lead us by these & may we love You will all our hearts & our neighbour as ourselves. Amen
