THEME: UNITY
Psalms 133:1
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!”
INSIGHT
-It has always been Gods’ intention for people to dwell together in unity as evidenced during the construction of the tower of Babel; where all people were united & spoke one language. God also confirmed that; when people are united & sort to do something, it cannot be withheld from them (Gen 11:6). Jesus tells us in Mat 18:19-20 that, if two agree on earth concerning anything that we ask, it will be done for us by God our Father in heaven. For where two or three of us are gathered together in His name, He is present in our midst. The church in Acts also lived together as one community of believers bearing the grace of God & even supported one another financially. Those who owned property sold it & brought the proceeds before the Apostles who distributed it to them according to each ones needs (Acts 4:33-35). Jesus also upheld the highest form of unity with His disciples where He closely related with them while on earth & came back to us after resurrection so that we may believe. Christ has also united us with God as one family for we are His heirs by His precious blood shed for us on the cross according to the promise. May we dwell in oneness in our churches, oneness in our families, oneness in the society, oneness in our nation, oneness in the whole world, & oneness in holding fast faith & truth in Christ Jesus. To help those in need among us, initiate productive projects among ourselves, fellowship & praying together in agreement for the edification of the body of Christ.
PRAYER
Jesus Christ our Lord & King. You showed us by example how to dwell together with one another in love. Fill our hearts with the same love so that we may uphold the same virtues of oneness & unity with another in You Jesus. We have always prayed in agreement & pray in agreement today for our various needs knowing that You always hear us. We also know that You have already accomplished that which we have prayed to You & all our heart desires according to Your merciful love. We thank You & praise Your holy name Father for Your love for us endures forever, Your grace is sufficient for all of us & You will never leave us nor forsake us no matter what we are experiencing. May Your peace that surpluses all understanding always dwell in our hearts, homes, families, societies, nation & the whole world for the glory of Your name. Amen
Blessed Tuesday
