And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
INSIGHT
-The wisemen presented 3 gifts to Jesus of gold which represented Kingship, frankincense – Divinity & myrrh – Priesthood/His sufferings. The gifts also expressed His divine & human natures.
PRAYER
We praise & glorify You; O Lord Jesus for all Your beautiful works & divine nature. You are the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the great I Am & the great High Priest. We thank You for everything You have done & continue doing unto us. Amen
