Numbers 24:21-22
“Then he looked on the Kenites, and he took up his oracle and said: “Firm is your dwelling place, And your nest is set in the rock; Nevertheless Kain shall be burned. How long until Asshur carries you away captive?”
INSIGHT
-Balak king of the Amonites was so terrified when the Israelites moved to the plains of Moab. So he called Balaam to curse them so that he may defeat them in war. Balaam ended up confirming in prophecy from the Lord that strong nations; Kenites which was established on a rock & Amaleks would be destroyed. The Kenites are believed to be from the root of Jethro & dwelt in the land of Kain; Canaan where the Israelites where promised (Gen 15:19). God always protected & provided the Israelites who were planted on His love despite the hostilities that came against them. The Lord has also protected us & continues to protect us from all external enemies by His mercies.
PRAYER
Lord our Father, we thanks You for the protection & guidance that You have accorded us. We call on You humbly asking You to cover us with Your precious blood that nothing will ever harm us & our families. We also thank You for the peace that we experience in our country & ask You to give the nation of Israel & other nations all over the world; peace that surpasses all human understanding. Amen
