Exodus‬ ‭17:6-7‬

“Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. So he called the name of the place Massah and Meribah, because of the contention of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, “Is the LORD among us or not?”

INSIGHT
-Rock in Hebrew is written as tsur & can be defined as a solid material forming distinctive mineral characteristics.
-Moses stuck a rock in Horeb which provided water for the Israelites in the wilderness to increase their faith & sustain their lives. This was a predestination of Jesus the Rock of ages Who was struck on the side &; water & blood gushed forth from His side on the cross. John tells us that he who has seen the events of Christ on the cross testifies a testimony of truth so that we may believe (Jn‬ ‭19:34-35‬). We also know that there are three who bear witness on earth the Spirit, the water, & the blood; & these three agree as one (1 John ‭5:8‬).‬‬‬‬ ‬‬May we continue to ask the Holy Spirit to impart in us the fruit of love that we may remain in the mercy & grace of Christ in our walk of salvation.

PRAYER
We thank You Lord for we have started a new week in good health. You are our Rock & Savior; we put all our trust in You. Help us to be true witnesses of Your love in our daily lives, families & nation that we may live in Your love, grace, peace & unity among us. All praise & wisdom belongs to You Lord. Amen
