Daniel 1:15-16
And at the end of ten days their features appeared better and fatter in flesh than all the young men who ate the portion of the king’s delicacies. Thus the steward took away their portion of delicacies and the wine that they were to drink, and gave them vegetables.
INSIGHT
-Daniel, Shadrack, Meshack & Abed-Nego refrained from defiling themselves with the king Nebukadnezzar’s delicacies & chose to take vegetables & water. After 10 days they appeared better & fatter than the other young men. Disregarding the fact that proteins are body building foods, they trusted in God in that matter.
PRAYER
May we refrain from anything destructive to our bodies through Your help, Lord. That we may always seek You first in all things including our health. Amen
