Philippians 2:12-13

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

INSIGHT
-Apostle Paul was addressing the Philippians who were obedient in the presence & absence of onlookers. God speaks to us the same message that we should work out our own salvation in obedience to His word not to please others but to be made complete by Christ Who dwells in us. We all know that no one can bring salvation upon Himself but only through Christ who died for our sins; lest anyone boasts for saving himself. Christ therefore calls anyone who is willing; to follow Him with obedience so that each one may do His will through His grace that is sufficient for us all.

PRAYER
Our faithful Father, we humbly beseech You to have mercy on us & to train us in obedience to Your word. Fill us with Your love Holy Spirit; that we may fear God & always do His will. May Your grace abound in our hearts Father; to strengthen us when we are weak. Direct all students in their studies & exams that they may have success, bless the work of our hands that we may bear much fruit, help all those who are jobless & unmarried that they may see Your face in their petitions, fill all the priests & preacher; Holy Spirit that they may only share Truth, heal all the sick in hospitals & at home by Your blood; Jesus, bring back those who are lost to Your kingdom & heal the wounds of all those who are sad & heart broken that they may find joy. May Your peace that surpasses all understanding dwell in our hearts always. Amen
