Deuteronomy 11:24-25 NKJV

“Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory. No man shall be able to stand against you; the Lord your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, just as He has said to you.”

INSIGHT

–God promises that Israel will possess the land, with boundaries described from the wilderness probably the Negev desert, to Lebanon in the north, from the Euphrates River in the east, and to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. This description is an idealized vision of the Promised Land, which Israel would inherit. The promise was conditional and relied on their obedience to the law of the Lord. The same promise is repeated in Joshua 1:3, that God will give Israel every place and soil where we set our feet upon as their possession. God later promised the Israelites victory over their enemies, that God would go ahead of them and instill fear against their opponents. We are reminded that God is the source of victory and inheritance when we rely upon Him and do His will. Further, God is Sovereign through His authority over all the land and nations.

PRAYER

How awesome is Your name in all the heavens and the earth Lord. How powerful is Your name in all the heavens and the earth. How glorious is Your name among all the peoples and nations. We thank You dear Lord Jesus for this beautiful day that You have made, we rejoice and are glad in it. Your Sovereignty is supreme, and Your Majesty is above every imagination. You are Holy and Powerful dear Lord Jesus. You are wonderful and excellent in all Your ways. Dear Lord Jesus, we exult You over all the heavens and all the earth. May You take all the honor and glory. We raise Your banner in all the earth, let all creation praise You. We raise Your banner over all the heavens, let all the heavens give You glory and strength. We ask for Your guidance in our walk of faith and obedience to Your divine will and purpose. May You fill us with the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of all wisdom. May You go ahead of us and fight for us every battle dear Jesus for the battle belongs to You. May You grant us victory against those who oppose us and cause us pain that we may soar up with wings like eagles, we may run and not grow weary, we may walk and not be faint for our hope and trust is in You. May You give us new territories as our inheritance in land, business, work, expansion, diversification for our hope and trust is in You. May You expand our boundaries and territories in every sphere of our lives dear Lord Jesus for the glory and honor of You name. Amen
