THEME: AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST

Ephesians 6:20 NKJV

for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.”

INSIGHT

-Apostle Paul a dedicated minister of Christ served Him both in physical and imaginary chains. He explains his role in spreading the Gospel, even while being imprisoned. Paul refers to himself as an ambassador in chains, emphasizing that he remains a representative of Christ, despite his physical confinement. The metaphor of being an “ambassador” implies that Paul is on a mission from a higher authority, that is God, and his “chains” represent the persecution he endures for fulfilling that mission. Apostle Paul suffered for the gospel. He was arrested in Jerusalem by a violent mob that sort to kill him (Acts 21:26-36). Apostle Paul a prisoner of Christ was fully committed to Christ, and declared that he was crucified with Christ it is no longer he who lived but Christ who lived in Him (Galatians 2:20). This is the same declaration that we are called to daily as believers in our walk of faith and work of ministry.

PRAYER

Almighty Father, we thank You and honor Your name. We surrender ourselves to You in humble adoration for our lives belong to You. We thank You for You died on the cross for us and purchased us at a price. We now live in You and for You for we are Your prisoners and ambassadors, everlasting Savior. May You take charge of our lives fully Holy Spirit, we welcome You and need Your grace daily. May You fill us with Your righteousness in our lives, families, communities and nation. May Your peace and righteousness reign our Lord and God. May You grant the gift of salvation unto all people and all nations for Your names sake. May You deliver all those who suffer chains through disease, infirmity, lack, delay, persecution and other challenges. May You deliver all the street families and grant them Your peace in every sphere of their lives. We honor You Lord and exult Your name, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
