Luke 14:28-30 NIV
”Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, saying, ‘This person began to build and wasn’t able to finish.’“
INSIGHT
-Budgeting and cashflow planning is a key area in financial management. Often times we have seen people who inceptualize projects that they are unable to complete. A majority are faced with financial constrains due to poor financial planning and therefore loose their focus. Jesus speaks of this parable to caution us against lack of budgeting and proper planning while engaging in projects. Project planning activates all the vital spheres of technical and financial projection which assessing ones cashflows. Stalling of projects may lead to shame and ridicule once the foundation is laid and completion is not forthcoming. We are called to plan prior to engaging in projects as we seek God’s guidance and providence, and He will grant us good success.
PRAYER
How mavelous is Your name Oh Lord in all the heavens and the earth. How powerful is Your name Oh our Lord and God. How awesome is Your name dear Abba Father. You are seated at the right hand of God the Father, You are Holy dear Lord Jesus. You deserve all our worship and praise. You deserve to be exulted and adored. You deserve to be feared by all for only You are God and none can be likened to You. May You open the eyes of our understanding and bless us so that we may be able to budget and plan our projects wisely. May You give us courage and strength to step out of our comfort zones and invest prudently. May You bless our businesses, jobs and grant us new opportunities to prosper. May You release any pending payment for us and bless the work of our hands Abba Father. May You expand our boundaries and grant us good success in everything dear Jesus. May You bless our economy and help us thrive in all sectors. May You help those who are homeless, the orphans, widows, widowers, fatherless, prisoners, that You may help them and deliver them by Your divine favor. May bring all people and nations to Your saving grace that none will be lost. You are the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through You Jesus, save us we humbly beseech You. Our Father who art in heaven; hallowed be Your name; Your Kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptations but deliver us from evil; for thine is the Kingdom the power and the glory; forever and ever. Amen
