1. THEME: VICTORY

1 Corinthians 15:55-57

“O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

INSIGHT
-The sting of death is sin; but Christ Who is incorruptible, & immortal died & took away this sting so that we may rejoice with Him at the end of time. The strength of sin is the law for no one can quench its demands, endure its curse or cleanse his own transgressions but only through Christ Jesus, Who has made atonement for our sins & remission of it. He took the keys of hades & resurrected from the dead achieving His redemption goal; that we may be made holy just like the Father. We may therefore boast in our infirmities & needs for Christs’ sake because when we are weak then we are strong; for His grace is sufficient for us & His strength made perfect in weakness (2 Cor 12:9-10).

PRAYER
Oh powerful & ever living God, look kindly upon us Your sons that we may always finds favour in Your sight. By Your grace strengthen us when are weak & see us through difficult times. Hear our prayers from the deepest parts of our hearts & fulfil our needs. Shine Your face upon us & give us peace. Amen
