Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
INSIGHT
-Apostle Paul writes that the word of God is living, powerful & sharp diving the soul & spirit, joints & marrow, thoughts & intents of the heart.
-The soul involves the mind, will & emotions which are counciled by the Spirit & should be directed by the word of God (Christ).
-In John 1:, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
-There are always two voices in a person’s conscience, the negative one normally originates from the soul while the positive comes from the spirit which are discerned by Christ.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, sanctify our souls, thoughts & intents at hearts. May Your spirit direct our souls in the way that You desire. Guide all our decisions so that they may be a blessing to self, family, friends, country & others. Amen
