And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever
INSIGHT
-Jesus tells His disciples that He will give them another helper when He ascends to heaven.
-Jesus recognises the need for a Helper (Holy Spirit) all the time to help us continue with His works & assist us in doing His will.
PRAYER
Come Holy Spirit into my heart & kindle in me the fire of Your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humilty & self-control. Abide in me forever & instill in me the gift of faith, wisdom & understanding. Strengthen, comfort & heal me from all sicknesses, failures & weaknesses. Guide my thoughts & my actions that they may always be Holy. Amen.
