Theme: FIRMAMENT
Genesis 1:6-8
Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.
INSIGHT
-In Hebrew, firmament is written as raqia & means sky, expanse, heaven.
-In Psalm 29:3, The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters. John 3:5, Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. John 4:14, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
-Heaven separates the waters above & waters on earth. Thunder sounds when it is raining. Spiritual cleansing & baptism involve waters.
