OUR MISSION

The love of Christ foundation is a Community Based Organization (CBO) committed to assist the children living in the streets. With the continued prayers and support of organizations such as the Bible Society of Kenya, Beautiful hearts foundation, Reach a life foundation, Mitaani X, as well as individuals, we have been able to realize our objectives. Over the past three years, we have been successfully feeding over 40 children living in the streets daily. The Foundation is also committed in evangelism and continue to preach the gospel of salvation to the street families, and many have come to Christ; for the glory of His Name.

As part of our achievements, we have successfully relocated families from the street and facilitated better habitation for the families like that of Janet who was pregnant and required a safer place for her child and family. The Foundation has also repatriated several street children back to their homes, and empowered others economically through providing trolleys, mechanical tools and equipment etc. We have also facilitated the rehabilitation of more than a hundred children to rescue Centres such as Kwetu Home of Peace, Undugu childrens centre, Shauri Moyo rehabilitation centre, Makadara rescue centre, Dorothea rescue centre etc. By the grace of God, some have gone back to school including:- Emmanuel Emeka, Norman Kiragu, Roseline Njambi, Mary Wambui and others. This has not been easy but we have seen God’s hand of grace, and all glory goes to Him.

As part of our mission, we wish to also focus on settling more families to secure shelters and intend to facilitate the rent of the shelters, provide food and other incidentals, and offer business support. We also intend to support more children by taking them back to school where they will be equipped with education and life skills thus giving them opportunities to attain sustainable employment and businesses. In the long term, the Foundation plans to built rehabilitation centres, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), prayer centres, schools and industries where the street families will benefit more, for the glory of God’s name.

Donations like food, clothing, shoes and household goods can be dropped at Hazina Towers; Utalii lane; ground floor; Suite 3 and we will make sure they reach the needy as God will direct us. For financial assistance you can channel it through our bank account: –
